the fun of the campaign... wow!

I really like mcCain... but this scares me a little bit... and makes me laugh at the same time... can you say "appealing to the crowd?"

It sounds like typical political posturing, which every politician does, though you can sound-bite anyone to death when there's no context to the quotes. You'll notice that I really haven't posted much "pro-McCain" stuff in my blogs, etc. That's because I'm not really a huge fan of his. He was near the bottom of my list in the Republican primary and I had basically decided not to vote for him before he added Sarah Palin to his ticket. I like her a lot more than him. She would be the best President of all four of the major party ticket candidates. Where McCain comes out on this whole ridiculous $700 billion taxpayer bailout of the financial sector will be a big decider whether I stay behind him, now, or not. Chuck Baldwin, of the Constitution Party, has the best conservative principles of anyone in the race, but given the corrupt 2-party & major media-controlled process that we have, at this point, less than 1% of the voting population will ever hear anything about him before they read his name for the first time on their ballot on election day. Although Ron Paul did just threw his support behind Chuck, so that may get him a tiny bump in the exposure game. Barack Obama would be the biggest presidential disaster ever, though, which is why I've spent my time just pointing out the dangers of his candidacy. Ultimately, as you know, though, no political party or candidate is going to change the world or bring about what the Kingdom of God can. In such highly-charged political climates, it's important to remember that Jesus is the King of all Kings and that every other leader, including the POTUS, pales in comparison...
